A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before you
turn the first page.
Does LumiRead include books?
No. There is no bookstore, book source subscription or online book search. Import local files you are entitled to use. A new installation starts with an empty bookshelf.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account is needed. Once installed, you can read offline. Install offline system voices before using read-aloud; the separate voice engine may have its own network permissions. External pages and file services connect only when you choose to use them.
Are Android and iOS both free?
All currently provided Android features are free. Some advanced iOS features use a one-time LumiRead Pro purchase. Refer to the corresponding store listing for available features and pricing.
How do I move to a new phone?
Export a full backup on your old device and restore it in a compatible version. Keep the backup outside the app. Reading statistics, dictionaries and imported font files need to be kept separately or imported again.
